During the confrontation, the woman claimed that only South Africans are allowed to operate shops there.

“What we are doing is an awareness… South Africans are the ones who are allowed to operate in the informal market… As a foreign national, you are not allowed to own a small shop in South Africa. You are comfortable with breaking our laws,” she said.

The woman repeatedly asked the man to shut down the shop immediately, asking him to return to his country.

The Ghanaian man, however, remained calm during the confrontation.
