That building wasn't necessary at all, especially when Heads of State before thief Kufuor all used the Castle, and we lacked so many thing, the most important of all being feeder roads to cart foods getting rotten(Tomatoes and fruits, for instance) to urban centers.

Evil, pretentious JAK floated spurious arguments that Jerry John left juju in the Castle so he wouldn't to use the place, yet stayed in there till the building was finished at the Flagstaff House, when the initial and final intent for that building revolved around naked robbery.

Remember when that building started? The amount earmarked for it initially was $35 million, later shifted to $38 million, then climbed to a whooping $120 million at the finish. Everyone could guess how much was stolen from that colossal amount. Imagine the kind of hospital it could have built at the time, considering the value.

How could people who call themselves Ghanaians, be so wicked, callous and inconsiderate? And this Kufuor is called gentle giant?

A must for Ghana just because President Akufo-Addo decided to award you a lucrative contract to design that sham national cathedral while many crumbling elementary school buildings were being neglected by the government. There are already many churches scattered across Ghana for people to worship, so why dis President Akufo-Addo decide to waste Ghana's resources building a sham national cathedral with his demented claim that he made a pact with God that should he win the election, he would build a national cathedral for God. So why impose his personal pact with God on struggling Ghanaians? It's obvious that President Akufo-Addo's intent all along was to rush the completion of that sham cathedral by October of the election year so that he could use it as a tool to harvest Christian votes. Ghanaians refused to be fooled by that trickster Akufo-Addo. The national cathedral is nothing but a white elephant, a fraud perpetrated on the people of Ghana by a cruel and evil President Akufo-Addo, a President who lied that no tax payer money would go towards the building of that cathedral, but quietly proceeded to divert tax payers funds to the project. Even the President's quack pastor cronies enjoyed looting those funds as they pretended to be doing the work of God by building a house for God, as if God were homeless or even has a desire to reside in Ghana. That sham national cathedral is a waste, a fraud, and religious deception cooked up by President Akufo-Addo as a political combine harvester to be used to harvest Christian votes.

My only concern now is that President Mahama is wasting patiently till the final year of his term to resume building that sham national cathedral. I strongly urge Ghanaians to to send a loud message to President Mahama that he'll be making a big mistake should he decide to be a religious hypocrite like President Akufo-Addo by resuming the construction of that sham project. Ghanaians should also be be concerned, for President Mahama will likely use his deep-pocket brother to step in to complete that project. Ghana can't imitate Western nations blindly by constructing a national cathedral with hundreds of millions of dollars when it can't even provide rural areas across Ghana with clinics, clean drinking water, decent roads, and classrooms for elementary school kids. Ghanaians must say no to wasteful politicians who also happen to be religious hypocrites.

Should the teachers and school children also not be prioritized over the wasteful building of a sham cathedral dreamed by a devious and incompetent President? Shouldn't the country be be building boreholes in rural areas across the country; accommodations for teachers, nurses and healthcare officials stationed in areas where housing is often a huge challenge; providing interest free loans to these professional to purchase vehicles or build their own homes; repairing and maintaining roads across the country, many which are now deathtraps? Say no to that sham and worthless national cathedral. President Akufo-Addo made that fake pact with God to build God a national cathedral, the people of Ghana were not party to that pact, so President Akufo-Addo must fund his sham national cathedral with his own funds, not with the funds of Ghana tax payers.
