Watch as SA activist Queen Vee pleads for jobs for South African locals

A video of South African activist Victoria Africa, popularly known as Queen Vee, has gone viral, allegedly showing her advocating for employment opportunities for South African locals while addressing a business owner.

In the video, which has circulated widely online, a white business owner complained that many local South African workers often fail to report to work on Mondays, making it difficult for employers to rely on them.

Queen Vee, however, assured the business owner that she and her movement would take full responsibility for ensuring that local workers comply with workplace expectations once employed.

She further stated that if South African locals are given jobs and fail to adhere to workplace protocols, employers would be justified in taking disciplinary action.

“We will take full accountability. We give you the people, and we will ensure that they comply. We will ensure that they come to work on time, and we are not even going to interfere, especially when a person comes and disrespects your business, does not follow protocol, or does not want to comply. You have every right to take action,” she said.

Meanwhile, anti-immigration protests and xenophobic tensions are reportedly spreading across South Africa, raising concerns in several African countries.

Protesters argue that foreign nationals are taking jobs away from South African citizens and contributing to rising crime levels.

Some groups have also demanded that all undocumented immigrants leave South Africa by June 30, 2026.
