Three shops destroyed in Atonsu Gyinyase inferno

A late-night fire outbreak at Atonsu Gyinyase in the Ashanti Region has razed three shops, including a beauty salon and a carpentry workshop.

According to a report by CITI FM on X on June 2, 2026, the blaze, which started on Monday night, June 1, 2026, has left victims devastated as all belongings were consumed by the flames, with nothing salvaged from the fire outbreak.

Details about the cause of the fire remain unclear, but eyewitnesses say the inferno spread quickly, leaving shop owners helpless.
