Baba Rahman was a bit slow on that final cross. He was expected to block the cross. Once he failed, that perfect cross inevitably led to the goal. Inaki Williams should be commended for wanting to play for Ghana. Unfortunately he almost never brings his best game. This will not be lost on the coach. I doubt that Baba and Inaki will see much action in the real World Cup - unless they improve.

This is said with no disrespect to Jordan Ayew & Baba Rahman, both have served Ghana admirably and built commendable reputations. However, its time to hang your boots to Ghana international tournaments to avoid any embarrassment!!! Sometimes the best way to protect one’s legacy is to step aside at the right moment.
Allowing younger, energetic players to take up the responsibility can benefit the team’s future, while preserving the dignity and achievements earned over the years. Continuing for too long risks overshadowing those positive contributions.

As the saying goes, a word to the wise is enough!

I don’t think the lack of goals is to do with speedy forwards. All our attackers apart from Jordan has pace as one of their attributes. We are not scoring because most of the formation we play are defensive/conservative. This started when we started employing Serbian coaches and it remained because we had a bit of success in previous world cups. The difference between the Serbian era and this era is that the midfield was always strong and was our strongest link. Now with the likes of Sibo, Elisha and a rusty Partey, we would have to rely heavily on the midfielders spreading the passes to the wingers to create chances
