A viral video circulating on social media captures an incident involving an auto rickshaw (Pragyia) rider and a Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) official at a bushy location, alongside several other individuals.
According to background commentary in the video, the KMA official had arrested the rider for a traffic violation and entered the tricycle to process the arrest.
However, the rider allegedly diverted to an unknown location, reportedly to meet friends and mock the official.
In the video, the KMA officer is seen standing at the deserted location, appearing stranded, while the rider explains the situation to his friends at the scene.

The rider is heard saying, “We are from Kejetia. I told him to get down, but he didn’t. So, I had to charge him GH¢15 for the fare. He gave me the money and begged me to let him alight.”
