As part of efforts geared towards encouraging learning among students, a non governmental organization known as Marliwak Foundation has successfully organized a Book Drive and Educational Support Outreach at New Gbawe Experimental Junior High School in Accra, reaffirming its commitment to promoting education and empowering young learners.
The outreach benefited students through the donation of books, pens, stationery, sanitary pads, and other educational materials aimed at enhancing teaching and learning.
As part of the Foundation’s commitment to rewarding excellence, outstanding students from JHS 1 and JHS 2 who placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their respective classes were presented with certificates, educational items, and cash prizes in recognition of their hard work and academic achievements.
Delivering his remarks, the President of MARWILAK Foundation, Mr. Willington Amankwah Marfo, encouraged the students to take their education seriously, remain disciplined, and strive for excellence.
" I want to particularly admonish you to learn hard, remain respectful to your teachers, and uphold values of integrity, dedication, determination, discipline, and respect as you prepare for your future careers and leadership roles.
I would also want to extend my sincere appreciation to the authorities of New Gbawe Experimental JHS for your warm reception, cooperation, and commitment to the success of the program.
Together, we will continue to invest in the future by empowering young minds, promoting academic excellence, and creating opportunities for every child to thrive, " he added
The event also provided an opportunity to motivate and inspire students to remain focused on their studies and pursue excellence in all aspects of their lives. Refreshments were served to participants, creating a memorable and engaging experience for the students.
