According to him, he has never looked down on any income-generating venture and believes every honest job deserves respect.

Speaking in an interview on Movement TV, sighted by GhanaWeb on June 10, 2026, Chairman Wontumi said he is attracted to any legitimate business opportunity and would not hesitate to engage in any lawful trade if circumstances required.

“One thing I have always admired is a man who sells kenkey and fish. I do not shy away from any kind of job. Even if it gets to the crunch and I have to sell koko (porridge), I will sell it,” he said.
