Owusu-Bempah clarifies alleged prophecy on Bawumia's 2028 election prospects

Founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, has clarified that he has not made any prophecy about the victory of former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2028 general elections.

According to the outspoken preacher, a video circulating on social media suggesting he predicted a win for Dr Bawumia in 2028 is an old recording taken out of context.

Speaking in an interview with Okay FM’s Adea Akye Abia programme on June 10, 2026, Rev Owusu Bempah urged the public to disregard the video and avoid spreading misinformation.

“The video circulating is an old video, so the public should disregard it,” he stated.

The man of God further indicated that his current focus is on praying for the success of President John Dramani Mahama’s administration, stressing that Ghanaians must support the president to deliver on his mandate.

“President Mahama is working, so let’s all support him with prayers so that he can do more,” he said.

His comments come amid renewed political discussions on social media ahead of the 2028 elections, with several old videos and prophecies resurfacing online.

Prophet Owusu Bempah, known for making prophecies on national issues and elections, has often drawn public attention for his pronouncements on Ghana’s political landscape.
