GMeT has warned of moderate to heavy rainfall and flood risk across the country
The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has issued a weather update warning of moderate to heavy rainfall, with or without thunder, over coastal and inland areas on June 13, 2026.
GMeT cautioned that the rainfall will be accompanied by moderate to strong winds.
Expect more rainfall’ - GMet triggers flood prevention alert
It further warned that "localised flooding is likely in low-lying and flood-prone areas, urging the public to take necessary precautions."
