The Commonwealth Games Association of Ghana (CGA Ghana) has issued a strong public disclaimer distancing itself from an entity known as INGO TSR, warning stakeholders against engaging in any business or financial transactions with the group in relation to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

In a statement, CGA Ghana said it has neither appointed, authorized, recognized nor entered into any agreement with INGO TSR regarding the organization, management, promotion or operation of "Ghana House" or "Ghana Village" connected to the upcoming Games or any related international sporting event.

According to the Association, it has become aware of representations by INGO TSR and its representatives claiming to be the official organizer, sponsor or promoter of Ghana House at the Commonwealth Games.

CGA Ghana described such claims as false and misleading, stressing that they do not have the endorsement, approval or recognition of the Association or any of its affiliated agencies, committees or partners.

The Association therefore urged the general public, corporate organizations, sponsors, government institutions, diplomatic missions and other stakeholders to refrain from entering into agreements, making financial commitments or conducting any transactions with INGO TSR based on any purported authority from CGA Ghana.

It further emphasized that it would not be responsible for any commitments, representations, financial transactions or obligations undertaken by the group or any individual acting on its behalf in relation to Ghana House or activities associated with Ghana's participation in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

CGA Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the integrity of Team Ghana, the Commonwealth Games movement and the interests of stakeholders. It noted that any official hospitality programmes, promotional activities, commercial initiatives or projects connected to Team Ghana's participation at the Games would be communicated through its official channels.

The Association also advised the public to verify any claims of authorization directly with CGA Ghana before entering into any arrangement relating to Team Ghana or activities linked to the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
