Black Stars head coach, Carlos Queiroz showed off some dance moves during training as the team prepared for their first game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The squad wrapped up their final training session ahead of their opening match against Panama at Toronto Stadium on June 17, 2026.
During the session, a lively jama performance was held to boost team spirit and morale, with players and technical staff singing and cheering together.
Black Stars' World Cup outreach event becomes talking point
Goalkeepers’ trainer Fatau Dauda, who led the session, mentioned Queiroz in one of his songs, prompting the coach to dance in a gentle manner to excite the squad.
Holding a ball, Queiroz moved his body in rhythm, matching his hand gestures, and was joined by Fatawu Issahaku, who sang for him in a thrilling display.
This comes as a huge morale boost for the team, with the positive atmosphere in camp expected to enhance their performance. Queiroz’s vast experience is also seen as invaluable heading into the tournament.
The World Cup, hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, began on June 11, 2026.
Ghana will compete against England, Croatia, and Panama in Group L for a place in the knockout stage.
