Afia Pokuaa is a Ghanaian media personality
Outspoken Ghanaian media personality, Afia Pokua, popularly known as Vim Lady, has weighed in on the ongoing discussions surrounding the detention of former MASLOC Chief Executive Officer, Sedina Tamakloe Attionu.
Recently, the President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, alleged during a discussion on JoyNews that Sedina Tamakloe had been placed under house arrest due to health concerns.
Several individuals raised concerns about the claim, seeking more clarity on it.

Subsequently, in reaction to the concerns as well as Franklin Cudjoe’s claim, government spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu maintained that Sedina Tamakloe is in the custody of the Ghana Prisons Service.
However, in a recent development, Afia Pokua, in a video sighted by GhanaWeb on June 19, 2026, called on the government to provide evidence that the former MASLOC CEO is unwell.
According to her, the government should refrain from shielding Sedina with what she described as flimsy excuses and attempts to divert public attention.
“If you claim she is sick, then provide proof. In any case, if she is sick, she should be receiving treatment at a hospital, not staying at home,” she stated.

She added, “The NDC is trying to divert attention with the Ken Ofori-Atta issue. This is what Franklin Cudjoe is saying: Sedina has been placed under house arrest with the explanation that she is sick.
“…If someone is sick, are you the ones to take care of the person or the doctor? Are you the ones to confirm whether she is sick? I knew something was off when they extradited her to Ghana. Until we all see that she is in Nsawam, we won’t believe any report.”
