Shocking CCTV footage has emerged showing a terrifying moment a car’s brake failed, causing it to ram into a moving tricycle in the Abetifi township in the Eastern Region.
Several people were injured in the incident, according to the video.
The video, shared on X by @weloveghana042 and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 19, 2026, captures a vehicle approaching at top speed before it suddenly veers and collides with the tricycle.

The incident created chaos, with bystanders and workers scrambling for safety amid flying debris and dust.
A white SUV could be seen parked nearby, stacks of building materials, at the time the incident occured.
The footage also shows the tricycle with its driver inside at the time of the collision.
