The Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) has destroyed huge quantities of counterfeit light bulbs and extension boards that were confiscated during an enforcement operation carried out two months ago.
The exercise, which was captured in a video posted on X by askghmedia on Monday June 22, 2026, forms part of efforts by the Authority to rid the market of substandard electrical products and protect consumers from potentially dangerous goods.
