The Amina story has most certainly taken a dramatic and revealing twist in the wake of the startling confession by Michael Ofosu Frimpong, a prosecution witness, that he was coached by some NPP bigwigs and their apparatchiks to corroborate Amina’s story.
Last Friday, Frimpong mentioned, NPP Chairman, Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey, Yaw Osarfo-Marfo, Kennedy Akompreko Agyepong, Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi, Professor Ken Attafuah, and Adakabre Frimpong Manso, as the masterminds behind his attempt to corroborate Amina’s story and create the impression that indeed, a robbery cum mass rape incident took place at Kubeasi.
It is in fleshing out the “bomb” that has been dropped on the NPP that one of the young Turks in the NDC, Kojo Twum-Boafo, has again congratulated His Excellency President John Evans Atta Mills for putting the security on RED ALERT. Speaking to The Informer in the wake of Michael Frimpong’s startling confession in court, the CEO of the Free Zones Board is of the view that the RED ALERT call is very much in order. According to Mr. Twum-Boafo, if the NPP has decided that it will employ terror tactics to create panic and fear and prevent President Mills from rolling out his Better Ghana plan, then it is only right and proper that the Commander-in-Chief orders the security agencies to be on RED ALERT.
According to Mr. Twum-Boafo, if a group of terrorists, masquerading as politicians, want Ghana to die, it would be imprudent for the President to sit idly by and watch them destroy the strong legacy that he is working hard to bequeath to the nation.
“The President’s prime duty is to protect us as Ghanaians and so if a group of terrorist brigands want to recklessly raise the political temperature for purely parochial partisan political reasons, then the President has no option but to tell his security chiefs to be on red alert”. Kojo Said. “If we are to believe what this Michael Frimpong guy is saying, then we all have a duty to be on red alert so that Jake and his terrorists; Akufo-Addo and his militants; Nyaho Tamakloe and his guerillas; do not disturb the peace that we are enjoying” Mr. Twum-Boafo added.
According to Kojo, the NPP is scared of the solid foundation that President Mills is building for his Better Ghana agenda and so they want to destroy the image of the country so as to scare away potential investors. According to Kojo, if it is true that Jake was the mastermind behind the hoax, it will not be surprising considering the blood that flows through the NPP Chairman’s veins. “Is Jake not the son of the man who was distributing bombs from his Bawaleshie hideout in the 60’s to the likes of I.C Quaye for them to be detonating at CPP rallies? It is a simple case of like father, like son” Kojo said. “Terrorism is in the DNA of Jake and so it will not surprise me one bit if it is true that he is the brain behind the attempt to create panic and fear in the country” Kojo added. According to Kojo Twum-Boafo, it is now clear the reason why Andy Appiah-Kubi was looking for an out of court settlement. “Appiah-Kubi must have known that Frimpong was going to drop the bomb that is why he was struggling to get an out of court settlement” Kojo said. “With the kinds of things that we are hearing, we thank the president judge for not allowing an out of court settlement” Kojo added.
According to the CEO of the Free Zones Board, it is God who is fighting President Atta Mills’ battles for him and that God will expose every evil machination of Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, Akufo-Addo and their war-mongering supporters.
“They are underestimating the extent to which the hand of God is upon Ghana that is why they are doing the things they are doing. I just want to tell them they will NEVER succeed because God is watching over Ghana” Kojo said.
“Now that they have brought disgrace, shame and scorn upon themselves via Frimpong’s confession, we will see how they will be able to convince Ghanaians to vote them in 2012. They better start preparing for 2016 because as for the 2012, they are out! Akufo-Addo will NEVER become President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana” Kojo said with a lot of conviction.
