Choked gutters on the University of Ghana campus have caused some vehicles to veer off the road and into drains following heavy rainfall on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

According to a report by Radio Univers, some drivers suffered damage to their vehicles after parts of the campus became flooded.

In a video shared on X on June 23, 2026, two vehicles were seen trapped in gutters while passersby attempted to help remove them.

According to the report, the incident occurred near the N Block lecture hall of the university.

The video was accompanied by the caption, “Choked gutters near the N Block on the UG campus have overflowed, causing some vehicles to veer off the road into the drains just after a few minutes of rainfall today.”
