Former Liberian President, George Weah has stated that French superstar Kylian Mbappé is a far better footballer than Spanish prodigy Lamine Yamal.

Mbappé has taken the 2026 FIFA World Cup by storm with his relentless performances that have caught the eye of the public.

He argued that comparisons with Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal are premature, stressing that Mbappé’s brilliant performances far outweigh those of the Spanish talent.

The former President of Liberia added that most fans would agree with his assertion because it is an undeniable fact.

"Kylian Mbappé is a phenomenon. Is he better than Lamine Yamal? Everyone knows Mbappé is far away," he told Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito TV.
