The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is hosting the Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on July 1, 2026.
The visit is regarded as a significant milestone in strengthening the long-standing ties between the Gonja and Asante kingdoms.
The Yagbonwura was accompanied to Manhia by a high-powered delegation of divisional chiefs, elders, queen mothers, and officials of the Gonja Kingdom.
