A video circulating on social media has captured the dramatic moment a moving truck caught fire at Wassa Akropong.
The footage, sighted by GhanaWeb on July 3, 2026, shows smoke emanating from the rear of the truck before it suddenly erupts into flames.
As the fire intensified, parts of the vehicle's body appeared to break apart.
The incident unfolded within moments, leaving bystanders with little time to intervene before the rear of the truck was completely engulfed by the blaze.
According to the caption accompanying the video, the driver reportedly escaped unhurt. However, the truck was completely destroyed by the fire.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
