One dead in fatal crash involving two motorcycles and a tipper truck at airport junction

A motorcyclist has been confirmed dead following a fatal road crash involving two motorcycles and a tipper truck at Airport Junction on the N1 Highway in Accra.

The accident occurred on Friday, July 3, 2026, causing heavy traffic and drawing a large crowd of commuters and bystanders as emergency responders rushed to the scene.

Videos circulating on social media show emergency personnel attending to the victims while onlookers gathered around the crash site.

One of the motorcycle riders was confirmed dead, while the condition of the other rider has not yet been officially disclosed.
