A 31-year-old man, identified as Ibrahim Sule, broke down in tears during the June 30, 2026, edition of Lawson Afisem on Lawson TV as he recounted the ordeal of his wife, who is reportedly trapped and seriously ill in Saudi Arabia.

According to Sule, his 27-year-old wife, with whom he has three children, travelled to Saudi Arabia despite his opposition to the decision.

He explained that before leaving, she called him and informed him that she was travelling, leaving the care of their three children entirely in his hands.

Sule disclosed that his wife has since become seriously ill and is currently in the custody of the agent who facilitated her trip to Saudi Arabia.

He claimed that the agent is demanding $3,000 before she can be allowed to return to Ghana.

Narrating his ordeal on the programme, which focuses on resolving domestic and family issues, Sule broke down in tears as he appealed for assistance to bring his wife back home.

“She called me and said she was seriously sick and had even collapsed and had been taken to the office.

“So, I called the agent and pleaded with him to allow her to return to Ghana, assuring him that I would pay. She left me with our three children and I am the one taking care of them,” he said.

He further claimed that it has been six months since his wife left Ghana and that her family has refused to support efforts to bring her back by contributing at least $1,000 towards the $3,000 being demanded by the agent.
