Prices of the Ghana jersey slashed
A Ghanaian jersey vendor has left social media users in stitches after announcing massive price reductions on Black Stars jerseys following Ghana’s elimination from the FIFA World Cup.
In a viral video circulating online, the vendor displayed different Ghana jerseys in various designs and sizes while informing customers that the prices had been drastically reduced in a bid to clear the remaining stock.
Holding up the jerseys one after another, he announced that the merchandise now sells for as little as GH¢3, with other jerseys priced at GH¢5, GH¢6, and GH¢15.

“We’ve reduced the prices of the Ghana jerseys. They now sell for GH¢15, GH¢6, GH¢5, and GH¢3,” the vendor said in the video.
According to him, the business has been running at a loss since the Black Stars crashed out of the FIFA World Cup, as supporters have stopped buying the national team jerseys.
The humorous clip has since gone viral, with many social media users reacting with laughter while others sympathised with vendors who had stocked up on Ghana jerseys in anticipation of a longer run in the tournament.
