Stonebwoy is a Ghanaian musician
Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy has strongly dismissed claims that he has a problem with Benjamin Asare because the Black Stars goalkeeper is a fan of his rival Shatta Wale and his Shatta Movement fanbase.
Speaking during a TikTok Live session, Stonebwoy expressed frustration over what he described as an “evil mentality” among some Ghanaians who try to create unnecessary divisions between people based on their affiliations.
“They don’t know say I know say he be Ghana man. They don’t know say it doesn’t matter about what he loves. Why we all go love the same people?”
The award winning hitmaker pointed out that several Black Stars players openly support his Bhim Nation movement, insisting that he has never made an issue out of anyone supporting a different artiste.

“When Gideon Mensah dey love Bhim e no be am? When Thomas Asante be Bhim native e no be am? When Ati Zigi be Bhim Nation e no be am? Plus more and more and more,” he stated.
Stonebwoy further criticised those fuelling the narrative, saying Ghanaians should focus on appreciating one another instead of creating unnecessary conflicts.
He also encouraged supporters not to lose hope despite the Black Stars’ recent struggles.
“We are just walking about with stupidity… Appreciate people. I said everything will be fine, don’t be sad too much, everything will be fine once you have life.”
