President John Dramani Mahama has received a high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), led by His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as Ghana seeks to deepen bilateral cooperation and attract more investment.

The meeting focused on expanding investment opportunities, particularly in Ghana's energy sector, while reinforcing the longstanding friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries.

Discussions centred on enhancing economic cooperation, with both sides exploring avenues to increase UAE investment in Ghana's key sectors, especially energy, which remains central to the country's economic transformation agenda.

The engagement also reaffirmed the strong diplomatic relations between Ghana and the UAE, with both countries expressing a shared commitment to strengthening collaboration for mutual economic growth and development.

The visit by the UAE delegation is expected to further strengthen the growing partnership between Accra and Abu Dhabi as both countries seek to expand trade, investment, and broader bilateral cooperation.
