IJM Regional President commends Ghana's commitment to child protection

The Regional President for Africa and Europe at the International Justice Mission (IJM), Andy Griffiths, has praised Ghana for its sustained commitment to protecting children and strengthening its justice system.

Speaking at the National Justice Conference in Accra on July 7, 2026, Griffiths said he was honoured to participate in the event, describing it as a privilege to be in Ghana.

He commended the country's long-standing efforts to advance child protection and justice sector reforms.

"It is an honour to be here in Ghana. It is a country that has shown a steady commitment over a long period of time to protecting its children and strengthening justice systems," he said.

Griffiths added that safeguarding children and building effective justice systems are causes that are deeply important to him, expressing confidence that the same commitment is shared by stakeholders across Ghana.
