Here's why KNUST lecturer Dr Nana Jantuah has won the hearts of students

A lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, has earned widespread admiration from students following a gesture aimed at supporting student entrepreneurs on campus.

In a video shared on KNUST's Facebook page and sighted by GhanaWeb on July 8, 2026, Dr Jantuah is seen purchasing the entire stock of products being sold by student entrepreneurs before distributing the items free of charge to other students.

The gesture drew excitement among students, many of whom were seen happily receiving products made by their colleagues.

According to the caption accompanying the video, the lecturer's act of kindness was intended to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among students while providing practical support for their businesses.

"His gesture serves as a powerful reminder that educators shape lives not only through teaching but also through meaningful actions that inspire, motivate and empower the next generation," the caption read.
