Residents of the Community 25 Savanna stretch area have reportedly called on authorities to urgently attend to their roads which is in a very deplorable state.
The bad state of the road, according to them stems from recent downpour and heavy-duty vehicles that ply the road.
According to a post shared on X on July 8, 2026, residents say the poor condition of the road has made daily movement difficult for both motorists and pedestrians.

In a video attached to the post, the said road is seen very muddy and filled with rocks at both sides.
A resident who spoke in the video the blamed a nearby factory for the destruction of the road that is used by all residents to their various homes.
He further said that if nothing is done about it by the government, they will take the matter into their own hands and block the road.

“Look at what they have done to the road. The road that we all use to go to our various homes. They built a factory over there. They always ply to road with caterpillars. So, they are destroying the road. They residents use small cars. If the government does not do anything about it, we will block the road and ask the factory people to find another road to use,” he said.
