A man identified as Kwaku Boakye has taken his marital dispute with his wife, Abena Baah, to the studios of Oyerepa Afutuo, alleging that her demanding job has negatively affected their home life.

Speaking on the television programme, which mediates domestic disputes, in a video that has since gone viral on social media, Kwaku claimed his wife's work schedule has resulted in poor housekeeping and late preparation of meals.

According to him, he has given his wife an ultimatum to choose between their marriage and her job.

"She doesn't cook early. Most of the time, she prepares banku with pepper sauce or angwa moo (braised rice). My eating habits have even affected my health," he said.

Kwaku further disclosed that he had been living away from the matrimonial home for the past two years, claiming his wife had made little effort to reconcile with him.

"It has been two years since I left home. Ask her if she has ever come looking for me. I am always the one who goes to see her," he stated.

He also alleged that his wife's demanding work schedule had left her with little time to keep the home tidy.

Responding to the claims, Abena Baah maintained that she was not prepared to quit her job, explaining that it had significantly improved her financial situation.

While admitting that her work often requires her to spend long hours away from home, she appealed to family members from both sides to intervene and help resolve the marital dispute.
