GhanaWeb has launched a new Real Estate Portal aimed at transforming the way Ghanaians search for, buy, rent and invest in properties by providing a more transparent and accessible digital marketplace.
The platform, unveiled on Thursday, July 9, 2026, is designed to address some of the challenges affecting Ghana’s real estate sector, including fragmented property listings, unreliable information and difficulties faced by buyers and sellers in accessing trusted opportunities.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer of GhanaWeb, David Antwi, said the initiative represents another milestone in the company’s commitment to using technology to connect people with opportunities.
He explained that after more than two decades of providing information and connecting audiences, GhanaWeb is extending its mission into one of the most important areas of people’s lives; finding homes and making property investments.
“For more than two decades, GhanaWeb has connected millions of people to information, opportunities, and one another. Today, we extend that mission to one of life’s most important decisions: finding a place to call home or identifying the right property to invest in.
“The launch of the GhanaWeb Real Estate Portal is our response to a growing need for a smarter, faster, and more transparent way of connecting people with property,” he added.
David Antwi said the platform goes beyond being a conventional property listing website, describing it as a comprehensive marketplace that brings together landlords, estate agents, developers, buyers, renters and investors.
He noted that the portal will provide visibility and wider reach for different categories of properties, including residential homes, apartments, land, commercial spaces and short-stay properties.

“Whether it is a family home, an apartment, a piece of land, a commercial space, or a short-stay property, our platform provides the visibility, convenience, and reach needed to connect with thousands of potential buyers, renters, and investors in Ghana and across the diaspora,” he said.
The GhanaWeb CEO stressed that trust and transparency will remain central to the operation of the platform, given the importance of credibility in property transactions.
According to him, the company’s longstanding relationship with its audience will serve as the foundation for ensuring reliability, while continuous improvements will be introduced to enhance user experience.
“We guarantee trust and transparency in the property market,” Antwi said, urging stakeholders across the real estate value chain to embrace innovation and collaborate in shaping a future where property search and investment become simpler and more accessible.
The new portal is expected to provide a platform where property owners, developers and agents can connect with potential buyers and tenants while giving users easier access to verified property opportunities.
