Lamine Yamal backs Julián Alvarez’s move to Barcelona

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has revealed he would welcome the arrival of Julián Álvarez at the club, describing the Argentine forward as one of the best players in world football and an ideal fit for the club.

Speaking about the prospect of Álvarez joining Barcelona, Yamal said the dressing room would gladly receive the striker if a deal materialises.

"I think everyone knows that he's one of the top players that everyone wants to play with. We have open arms if he comes, we will all be very happy," he said.

The Spain international believes Álvarez's style of play perfectly suits Barcelona's football philosophy.

"I think he's a player that matches a lot with the style of Barça, but the truth is that I have no idea how it goes. I hope so," Yamal added.

Álvarez has been linked with several of Europe's top clubs following another impressive season, with Barcelona among the teams reportedly interested in strengthening their attacking options.
