A video has emerged showing Abu Trica arriving in the United States following his extradition from Ghana to face fraud charges.
The footage captured by My Goodness and shared by askghana on X on July 10, 2026, shows him dressed in a light blue shirt and black trousers, with handcuffs on.
He was led and closely followed by officials believed to be agents of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Abu Trica’s extradition comes after Ghanaian authorities handed him over to US officials under an international cooperation arrangement.
He is expected to face prosecution in the United States over alleged involvement in financial fraud schemes.
Meanwhile, the video has sparked mixed reactions from the public.
Some expressed sympathy for the suspect.
Others argued that extradition is rarely straightforward, noting it would be difficult for a US citizen to face similar circumstances in Ghana.
Yet many insisted Abu Trica deserves every punishment if found guilty of the alleged fraud schemes.
