The Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon, led the iconic Viking row celebration upon the arrival of the national team back in the country.

The team received a heroic welcome, with thousands of people gathering to cheer them on and appreciate their historic performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, spearheaded by Erling Haaland.

Norway produced a remarkable performance, reaching the quarter-finals of the competition after defeating Brazil.

Their game against England, however, did not go as expected, with controversies surrounding the Three Lions’ equalizer. Norway’s protests were rejected, and they eventually succumbed to a 2-1 defeat.

After years of absence from the World Cup, the entire nation decided to honor the team with a public gathering that saw thousands of fans throng the venue.

The famous Viking row, which became a major attraction during the tournament, was performed, with Crown Prince Haakon leading the charge by beating the drum.

The national team players and the entire squad sat together with the crowd, moving their hands forward and backward in sync.

Afterwards, there were massive cheers and applause from the fans, who stood smiling and clapping continuously in appreciation of the team’s performance.
