25-year-old nurse found dead in room at Kwadaso

A 25-year-old nurse, Vincent Amponsah, who lived at Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region, has reportedly been found dead in his room.

Vincent's lifeless body was discovered on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, after neighbours became concerned when they had not seen or heard from him for several days.

Speaking in an interview with Ask Media, one of Vincent's neighbours said the last time she saw him was on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

She explained that Vincent usually purchased prepaid electricity for the household and when the credit ran out on Sunday, she began looking for him to top it up.

According to her, Vincent was a quiet person who mostly kept to himself and spent much of his time indoors.

"I called him several times, but I couldn't reach him. Whenever we couldn't find him, we usually checked at the hospital where he worked.

“So, I sent one of my children there, but they were told he wasn't at work. We returned home and continued calling his phone. We also contacted a relative of his abroad to inform his family.

“At the same time, another resident called a man and the assembly member to check his room. My husband and another man entered the room and found him dead. They recorded a video of the scene before reporting the case to the police,” she detailed.

Vincent worked at Agyarko Hospital in Ohwimase and was known by colleagues and neighbours for his calm nature and his love for music.

According to multiple social media reports, he was found with injuries consistent with a violent attack.
