The pastor is seen chasing a black crow, which he claimed interrupted his preaching
A Ghanaian pastor, identified as Prophet Nhyira, has recounted the incident involving a black crow during an evangelism exercise at the Nsawam Market, following a video that has been circulating on social media.
In the video, the pastor is seen chasing a black crow, which he claimed interrupted his preaching at the market.
Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM on July 14, 2026, Prophet Nhyira explained that he and members of his church had gone to the market to preach when they noticed the bird nearby.
"We went to Nsawam Market to preach on Wednesday. After preaching, we noticed the bird while some of the women were praying. Because we have heard stories about crows, many of them wanted to leave. But since we were doing the work of God, we continued praying,” he said.
According to the pastor, he and members of his church continued praying while the crow remained unable to fly until it eventually died.

"The crow then raised its head and stared at me, so we began praying fervently against it. Some people asked me to kill it but instead I used a broom to drive it away. It couldn't fly and eventually it died, so we decided to burn it.
"There are many of these birds in the trees and according to the people there, they usually gather there for a meeting," he said.
