BOST Energies Limited Company (BOSTenergies) has concluded its 2026 Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Week with a call for employees and stakeholders to strengthen their commitment to workplace safety, healthy living, and environmental responsibility.

The week-long celebration, held from July 11 to 17, 2026, was organised under the theme, “Engage, Educate, and Empower People for Improved HSE Culture.”

The programme brought together management, employees, stakeholders, and members of the media to promote awareness of health, safety, and environmental best practices across the company’s operations.

Activities undertaken during the week included a health walk, cleaning exercise, health screening, media engagement, HSE quiz competition, and a closing durbar.

The activities were aimed at educating employees and stakeholders on preventive healthcare, safety practices, and the need for collective responsibility in maintaining a safe working environment.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Managing Director of BOSTenergies, Afetsi Awoonor, said health, safety, and environmental excellence remain central to the company’s operations.

“Health, safety, and environmental excellence remain at the heart of everything we do at BOSTenergies. While the HSE Week provides an important platform to reinforce these values, our commitment extends beyond this week. We must all continue to engage, educate, and empower one another to ensure that safety remains a way of life throughout our organisation,” he said.

He urged employees and stakeholders to remain vigilant, adopt safe work practices, and contribute to building a stronger HSE culture within the company.

BOSTenergies said the successful organisation of the HSE Week reflects its continued investment in protecting the wellbeing of employees, safeguarding the environment, and promoting operational excellence.

The company expressed appreciation to its employees, partners, facilitators, the media, and stakeholders for their support and participation in the event.

As part of its ambition to become West Africa’s leading net-zero, integrated energy logistics and trading company, BOSTenergies said it remains committed to embedding health, safety, and environmental excellence into all aspects of its operations.
