Barcelona are set to sign Belgian-Ghanaian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge after reaching a full agreement for the highly rated 18-year-old.

The La Liga champions will pay a fixed $8.5 million fee, while Club Brugge will retain a 20 per cent sell-on clause as part of the transfer package. The clubs are now exchanging the final documents before the deal is officially completed.

The agreement comes after negotiations between the two clubs gathered pace in recent days. Although discussions had previously slowed over the structure of the deal, Barcelona returned with an improved offer that met Club Brugge's demands and paved the way for the transfer.

Bisiwu is regarded as one of Belgium's brightest young prospects after an impressive 2025/26 campaign with Club NXT. The exciting winger made 15 appearances in the Challenger Pro League and also caught the eye in the UEFA Youth League, where he scored three goals and provided one assist in eight matches.

The move underlines Barcelona's continued commitment to recruiting some of Europe's most promising young talents as the club builds for the future. Once the paperwork is completed, Bisiwu will become the latest emerging talent to join the Catalan giants' ranks.
