Transitions Funeral Homes has inaugurated a new branch at Lodestar Heights, Krakue Road, Community 1, Tema, marking a significant step in its mission to expand funeral service delivery across Ghana.

The new facility, opened on July 22, 2026, is expected to improve access to professional and regulated funeral services for families in Tema and surrounding communities.

Speaking to the media after the inauguration, Managing Director of Transitions Funeral Homes, Cornelius Genevieve, explained that the new branch is a way of assuring residents that the company is available to serve them.

“Opening the Tema branch is another way of telling the beloved people of Tema that Transitions is here to serve every family at the most difficult time, when people really need a one-stop funeral solution provider. We are happy that now we are closer to our clients,” she said.

Cornelius Genevieve noted that the company started a few years ago with a single branch at Haatso and has since expanded its operations to Tema and Airport.

She said the expansion reflects Transitions’ commitment to easing the challenges families face when they lose loved ones.

She added that the company wants clients to experience peace of mind, convenience and professionalism whenever they visit any Transitions facility.

The Tema branch is also expected to strengthen Transitions’ nationwide presence, allowing more families to access licensed and regulated funeral services under the oversight of the Mortuaries and Funeral Facilities Agency (MoFFA).
