The Williams and Yamal families continue to dominate the headlines after Spain's 2026 FIFA World Cup success.

The sons of the immigrant families played a huge role as Spain won their second World Cup after beating Argentina in the final, with Williams delivering the all-important assist for Fermin Lopez's extra-time winner.

Both players headed to the tournament not fully fit, but Spain's coach, Luis de la Fuente, could not leave the wingers at home due to how important they are for his team. It was no surprise, as both players played a part in the build-up for the winner.

Also starring off the pitch was Lamine Yamal's younger brother, Keyne, who stole the spotlight during the celebrations.

However, a heartwarming moment between his senior brother and the mother of Ghana forward Inaki Williams has since gone viral.

Williams' mother, Maria, was spotted having a light moment with the Barcelona star before ending their time with a fist bump. Maria was heard saying "Gboza", a popular Ghanaian term, as she stretched her arm.

The Spain national team has returned home, where an open-bus parade was held as thousands of fans chanted and sang the names of their heroes on the streets of Madrid.

Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal have been close pals since breaking into the La Roja squad, helping Spain to the Euro 2024 title two years ago.
