Four young Ghanaians have earned places in the Guinness World Records after achieving remarkable feats in recycling, agriculture, organisation and creativity.

Isaac K Boadi Atuah, George K Kwarteng Boadi, Selorm Kordzo Junior Dzakah and Rebecca Ackron Essel have each set records in different categories, showcasing their abilities on the global stage.

Isaac K Boadi Atuah and George K Kwarteng Boadi set the record for the fastest time to sort two bags of recyclable materials as a team of two under 16s.

A search by GhanaWeb on the Guinness World Records website showed that the duo, who are the current holders, achieved the feat in Kasoa on September 11, 2024, after sorting two bags of recyclable materials in 28 seconds.

According to Guinness World Records, the attempt was aimed at creating awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.

Isaac Boadi also secured another record for the most seeds planted in one minute by an under-16 participant.

He planted 14 seeds within one minute at Nyanyano Millennium City on December 5, 2025, during Ghana’s National Farmers’ Day celebration.

The achievement was aimed at encouraging children to grow their own food and promote environmental protection.

Meanwhile, Selorm Kordzo Junior Dzakah earned a Guinness World Record for the fastest time to pack a school bag by an under-16 participant, completing the task in 11.77 seconds in Kasoa on December 4, 2025.

Ghanaians who set Guinness World Records in 2024

His record attempt was inspired by the need to promote skills such as organisation, time management and problem-solving among young people.

Rebecca Ackron Essel joined the list of young Ghanaian record holders after setting the record for the fastest time to build a 10-toilet-roll pyramid.
