A Global Benchmark for Ethical Finance

Malaysia is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading centres for ethical and non-interest finance, having developed a robust dual-banking system supported by strong regulation, deep capital markets and well-established governance structures over the past four decades.

The executive study tour offered participants exposure to regulatory supervision, consumer protection mechanisms, licensing frameworks and dispute resolution systems that underpin the country’s success.

Access Bank Ghana’s participation comes at a pivotal time as Ghana continues to strengthen institutional capacity and explore opportunities for the development of non-interest banking, insurance and capital market products.

Through strategic investments in talent development and international partnerships, the Bank is building the expertise required to deliver ethical and non-interest finance solutions to Ghanaian customers and businesses.
