The state funeral of the late former Foreign Affairs Minister and distinguished diplomat, Ambassador James Victor Gbeho, has been held with government officials, diplomats, Members of Parliament and other dignitaries gathering to honour his life and contributions to Ghana’s diplomatic service.

Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, led a delegation from Parliament to pay their last respects to the renowned statesman during the funeral held on Friday, July 31, 2026.

Ambassador James Victor Gbeho died on June 13, 2026, at the age of 91, after a distinguished career spanning diplomacy, politics and public service.
