Pollster Mussa Dankwah has confirmed that he has secured a government contract under the current administration but denied claims that the contract was sole-sourced, as alleged by some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on social media.
According to Dankwah, the contract was awarded through a competitive tendering process, which he participated in and won.
Addressing the claims in a social media post, he said: “Eii, so I have been trending for an alleged sole-source contract?
“Well, I am not aware of any sole-sourced contract. I submitted a tender and won, and we have delivered on all project milestones while using my own money to pre-finance the project. I am still waiting to be paid.
“I don’t just accept any project; I ensure that I check the relevant boxes before saying yes. The work I delivered will have a significant impact on the future of the country’s youth, and I am proud to have led the team to deliver it. What is your contribution to this country?
“All reports have been delivered, and engagement on the last one is still ongoing. I am proud to be associated with this project, together with my team.”
