The founder and leader of Zoe Outreach Embassy Church, Pastor Kelvin, has accused Akwatia Member of Parliament Bernard Bediako Baidoo of allegedly using state security agencies to interfere with investigations into an alleged fraud case involving him.

In a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb, Pastor Kelvin questioned why the MP would allegedly seek the intervention of the police and other state agencies if he had nothing to hide.

“…If you are a man like you think, leave the police to continue their work. Why are you trying to use the police and state apparatus to stop the investigation, to stop the process of the case? This is the whole issue,” he said.

According to Pastor Kelvin, the original case was filed by a lawyer, Suleiman Musa, who was arrested on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

He said Musa’s statement to investigators linked the MP to the case and claimed that the docket has since not been accounted for.

“Bernard Bediako… There is no way that we have said that you were the lawyer for Augustine Ampofo in his original suit. In the original suit, Amoako Agyei Consult was the law firm where you were working at that time. The lawyer who filed the writ was Suleiman Musa, and he was arrested on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, just last week,” he claimed.

“And his statement is this: that you were the person who brought the case to the chambers. And when you brought the case, he filed the case. When he filed the case, they realised that there were a lot of fishy things about the case,” he continued.

Pastor Kelvin further alleged that the MP was later removed from Amoako Agyei Chambers and that the case docket was handed to him.

“As a result of that, you were sacked from Amoako Agyei Chambers, and the whole docket was given to you. So, up until now, they don't know where the docket is. They don't even have any information on Augustine Ampofo,” he alleged.

He also questioned the existence and whereabouts of Augustine Ampofo, saying the address provided in the original writ led investigators to a property where the MP was staying in Koforidua.

“Augustine Ampofo, as the original writ states, gave an address, which was a GPS. We traced the GPS. It led to the very house in which you were staying in Koforidua. It's a huge apartment, about 10 to 15 apartments,” he disclosed.

“Nobody there has ever seen Augustine Ampofo. He has never lived there; you were the one living there… You are the one the police should look for, and that is why you are trying to use the police to stop the police,” he added.

Pastor Kelvin also rejected claims that the MP was the lawyer for Augustine Ampofo in the original case.

“Nobody has said you were the lawyer for him, even though in one of the proceedings, you appeared holding brief for Suleiman Musa… Augustine Ampofo doesn't exist in the whole system,” he clarified.

He further alleged that the MP later represented Augustine Ampofo after the same person was served with court documents at the address linked to him.

“Now, you are saying that we have filed a civil case against Augustine Ampofo, so we know him. We filed that civil case. Augustine Ampofo was served by substituted service at the GPS where you were living. And lo and behold, you are the one who entered a defence for him. Up until now, you are the only person who knows where that figure, Augustine Ampofo, is,” he said.

The dispute centres on allegations that properties belonging to Air Real Estate Company Limited were sold following a court case involving a person identified as Augustine Ampofo Bediako.

Pastor Kelvin claims investigations have found no evidence that Augustine Ampofo had a genuine transaction with Air Real Estate Company Limited.

He also claims that Access Bank records did not show any payment by Augustine Ampofo into an account associated with the company.

According to the pastor, the alleged court process resulted in a judgment that was later used to auction and sell 14 properties belonging to the company.

Pastor Kelvin has maintained that the case was based on a non-existent identity and transaction and has called for the matter to be fully investigated.
