Prophet Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, has rebuked the Founder of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, over comments he made about the existence of Jesus Christ.
According to Prophet Roja, Osofo Kyiri Abosom destroyed several shrines across the country when he was a pastor, calling on traditional leaders to turn to Jesus Christ.
He therefore questioned why the GUM presidential aspirant would now claim that there is no God or Jesus Christ.
Speaking in an interview on Angel FM on August 20, 2026, Prophet Roja challenged Osofo Kyiri Abosom to either accept the existence of Jesus Christ or return the shrines he allegedly destroyed to their owners.
He argued that the destruction of the shrines was based on the former pastor’s belief that people should turn to Jesus Christ.
“He is my senior pastor, and when he came, he destroyed several shrines in the country, calling on them to turn to Jesus.

“So, I think his comment about Jesus is just a slip of the tongue. Because if he claims that there is no Jesus, then he has to return all the shrines that he destroyed because that was his basis, that they should turn to Jesus. So, after destroying them and now saying there is no Jesus, then return the gods.”
Osofo Kyiri Abosom recently sparked controversy in an interview when he described the belief in God as a fallacy implanted in the minds of many.
He stated that human beings, rather than God, were responsible for helping people become successful, insisting that “there is no God anywhere.”
When asked about the Bible he used to preach with, Osofo Kyiri Abosom said he no longer found meaning in it and had kept his copies somewhere in his room.
He explained that he had two or three Bibles, which he marked with a green marker before putting them away, adding that he did not burn them.
He also rejected claims that he had used the name of Jesus Christ to enrich himself before abandoning his faith.
According to him, if his former beliefs had been beneficial to him financially, he would not have abandoned them.
