Watch as Aboso youth carry police officer through town over heroic firefighting efforts

Some youth in Aboso have been captured carrying a police officer and parading him through the town in recognition of his efforts to help put out a fire in the area.

In a video circulating online, the youth are heard loudly calling for the officer, identified as Inspector Hance, to be promoted by the government.

“If this police officer is not promoted, we won’t agree,” one of the youth is heard saying.

According to reports, the youth decided to honour Inspector Hance after witnessing his relentless efforts and dedication in helping to douse a blazing fire at a building in the area.

In the video, Inspector Hance is seen assisting some of the victims of the fire incident and working to help bring the situation under control.

The youth have subsequently called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to recognise Inspector Hance’s efforts and consider him for promotion.
