Suniel extends kit sponsorship to Ghana’s national handball team

Suniel, the official kit sponsor of Ghana’s Minifootball national team, has extended its support to the national handball team.

The announcement was made during the official unveiling of Ghana’s Minifootball national team on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Speaking at the unveiling, the representative of Suniel, Daniel Kotey Adjei, revealed that the company presented jerseys to the Minifootball team ahead of their upcoming African Cup of Nations and World Cup campaigns.

He explained that although Suniel is not the official sponsor of the handball team, the company decided to step in with the necessary items to support the team ahead of its trip to Burkina Faso next month.

“We are doing this because we are trying to encourage and help the youth in sports,” Daniel Kotey Adjei said.

He added that the company’s support forms part of a broader commitment to the welfare of Ghanaian youth, while leaving open the possibility of a longer-term partnership.

“We believe in the welfare of Ghanaians and the youth especially. So for now, let’s just support them. Business comes to us, fine. We are good,” he added.

Suniel has also pledged its full backing for Ghana’s Minifootball national team as they prepare for both the African Cup of Nations and the World Cup in Croatia in October.

“We are fully behind them, and as they go, we wish them well and we hope they come back with gold,” he concluded.
