Black Princesses defender Alexandra Tay
Black Princesses defender Alexandra Tay says Ghana are relishing the challenge of facing France in their final Group C match at the U-20 Women's World Cup.
The two sides will meet at Arena Sosnowiec on Saturday, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT.
Ghana must win to reach the knockout stage for the first time in the history of the competition.
"France are a very strong team, so we're excited to face them," Tay told Fifa.
"You're always excited to face a strong opponent, so we'll go back and prepare for that."
The Black Princesses began their campaign with a disappointing 3-0 defeat by Ecuador before bouncing back with a 3-1 victory over South Korea.
Ghana have appeared at every edition of the U-20 Women's World Cup since 2008 but have never progressed beyond the group stage.
Victory against France would therefore secure a historic place in the knockout phase and mark a significant milestone for the Black Princesses.
