Ghana’s Black Maidens began their WAFU -B U-17 campaign in impressive fashion with a commanding 4-0 victory over Burkina Faso in Côte d’Ivoire.

The Black maiden’s side took the lead in the sixth minute after Seidatu confidently converted from the penalty spot.

Ghana continued to dominate proceedings and doubled their advantage just before the break, with Gloria finding the back of the net in the third minute of added time.

The Black Maidens returned from the break with the same attacking intent and extended their lead in the 73rd minute through Benedicta.

Hajara then completed the emphatic victory in the 84th minute, scoring directly from a corner to make it 4-0.
