When you make money, turn back to your people – DKB praises RNAQ

Comedian DKB, born Derick Kobina Bonney, has praised businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye for turning his success into support for young people in the Ga-Dangme community.

DKB made the comments after attending the launch of the RNAQ Ga-Dangme Youth Scholarship Fund, established by Richard Nii Armah Quaye, the president of RNAQ Holdings.

He said the scholarship scheme would give brilliant Ga-Dangme students an opportunity to receive support and improve their prospects.

“Today, everybody knows that, yes, there’s a sponsorship scheme to support Ghana with brilliant students. This is beautiful,” DKB said.

He praised Richard Nii Armah Quaye for choosing to support his own people after achieving success in business.

“When you make some money, when you make some great strides, you turn back to your people to elevate them. And that is what Richard Nii Armah Quaye, RNAQ, has done,” he said in an Instagram post.

DKB also praised the Ga Mantse for being part of the initiative, saying he was looking forward to seeing more Ga-Dangme people rise through the support.

“So very soon, you’re going to hear a rocket scientist called Nii Atuquaye,” he said.

“I can’t wait to see my Ga-Dangme people elevate now,” DKB added.
